Bryan Howell is a Staff Meteorologist splitting his time between the Graphics and Energy teams.  Bryan graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology as well as minors in Math and TV/Radio Broadcasting.  Prior to coming to Telvent DTN, he had a short stint in radio.

While in college, Bryan was active in the local National Weather Association chapter holding the positions of treasurer and president.  During his tenure as president, the chapter was also recognized as an American Meteorological Society local chapter.  Bryan interned with Tom Skilling at WGN-TV in Chicago and at the Milwaukee National Weather Service office.  Also during college, Bryan took part in two 11-day chase trips to the Central Plains, in addition to numerous day chases and still enjoys chasing when he can.

Outside of work, Bryan is active with the local AMS chapter, serving as the Treasurer and is an Assistant Skywarn Coordinator for central and southern Minnesota, as well as western Wisconsin.  He also teaches Skywarn spotter classes.  When not doing something related to weather, Bryan enjoys photography and railfanning.  Originally from the Chicagoland area, Bryan enjoys living in the Twin Cities but still roots for his hometown Cubs.
