As Director of Meteorology Operations, Wes oversees the day-to-day operations of our forecast team, with a talented group of over 50 meteorologists. Meteorology Operations, or MetOps as it’s usually referred to, produces forecasts for thousands of customers in specific industries, focusing on high-quality consistent forecasts that reflect the 300+ years of experience on Wes's staff.

Prior to heading up MetOps, Wes was the team leader for the Sports and Recreation Industry at Telvent DTN.  In addition, Wes was also one of Telvent DTN’s on-site meteorologists for premiere golfing events, providing early detection and advance warning of oncoming lightning and storms to protect the players, officials, and spectators from harm. Wes completed his Bachelors of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from Millersville University in 2001.

Wes has been in the Private Sector Meteorology field for 10 years. He has proven credibility in not only the Sports and Recreation market but also in Telvent DTN’s Aviation, Energy, and Transportation sectors as well.

Wes is a native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, but has really grown to love Minnesota and the Upper Midwest region, even in the coldest of times.
