Football playoffs continue this weekend with the divisional round games occuring Saturday and Sunday. Eight teams will battle it out this weekend to see who gets to advance.
Two games each will be played on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's games feature the New Orleans Saints at the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos at the New England Patriots. The weather in San Francisco on Saturday is looking great for the game. Game time is at 4:30pm EST/1:30 PST Saturday and the temperature at the start of the game is expected to be a comfortable 56 degrees F under partly cloudy skies. Winds throughout the game will be light so they won't be a factor in the game.
Saturday evening the Broncos will take on the Patriots. The temperature at game time, 8pm EST, will be quite chilly around 23 degrees F, so those going to the game will need to bundle up. A strong area of low pressure departing northern New England will continue to lift north, so the strong winds behind this system will gradually decrease throughout the day. Winds during the game are expected to be out of the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday afternoon the Houston Texans at the Baltimore Ravens. With high pressure moving into the eastern US on Sunday, the weather should not be a factor for the game. Sunny skies, temperatures in the upper 30s, and west-northwest winds of 5-10 mph will be expected in Baltimore during the game.
And lastly, with the New York Giants in Green Bay against the Packers, the weather is looking good during the game. Temperatures will be hovering around 30 degrees F at game time of 4:30pm EST under partly cloudy skies. South-southeasterly winds of 5-10 mph will be expected throughout the game.
