Telvent will highlight integrated Smart City solutions for more efficient transportation operations

With declining government spending and an increasing drive for a more integrated transportation network, departments of transportation at all levels of government are being pushed to work together closely. A synergistic approach not only stretches small operating budgets more effectively, but also allows operators to plan in advance for factors that might affect them. Coordinating communication across multiple departments and jurisdictions can be a daunting challenge. Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) is a unique solution that improves mobility through efficient operation of the transportation network and city resources.

ICM provides the comprehensive structure necessary to foster information-sharing and coordination across multiple government agencies. The solution is part of Telvent’s complete suite of SmartCity solutions that promote more efficient operations and uses of urban resources.
